My First Video!

This month will be a year since my first attempt at creating a video and I’ve finally decided to share the end product with you! My first experience with video work was more than likely my last… nevertheless, I will use this as an opportunity to share the experience with you. Despite this probably being my least favourite assignment (aside from my dissertation presentation), the video was featured on the graduate website for our final exhibition! A pleasant surprise to say the least.

The video is a five minute introduction which explains my relationship with commercial photography and photography as art, presenting you with a snippet of my portfolio, and briefly introducing you to my final major project, which you can read more about here.

If there came a time where I decided to work with film and moving image again, I would definitely take a more cinematic approach. Perhaps this may be a future passion project or even a new addition to Spooktober! In the meantime, you can watch my attempt at explaining my quite eclectic photographic practice below.
